Let’s Give Them Something To Talk About!

I love love love to talk. When it comes to great events stories or amazing things that happen in our lives I think a lot of us like to talk.

The same was true for the people that met Jesus, were healed by him and received a fresh start in life. They often told and showed any one they could of the amazing change they experienced. Jesus became the talk of the town. Everyone knew about him!

Jesus loved to heal and offer people a new start in life but he very rarely promoted himself.

I know that Jesus has done amazing things in my life, my husbands life and the life of almost all of my friends. their stories are amazing, encouraging and pointing directly to Jesus. Let’s keep sharing the amazing work Jesus is doing in our life so more people might be encourage and find out who this amazing Jesus is!

So What is ‘IT’ all About?

All my life I wondered what is ‘IT’ all about? ‘IT’ being life of course! At some point I think we all ask this question or a version of it.

What is the purpose of life?
What am I here for?
Is there something special for me to do while I am here on earth?

Jesus give us a fantastic answer to this question. Matthew 28:19-20 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

You and me, we are called to make disciples. This does not take into consideration our personality, gifts, skills or passions. This is for everyone. We are all supposed to make disciples.

As we go about doing this, focusing on what Jesus has asked us to do by making disciples, I think we find ourselves at peace with the question that we were previously asking. We may even find ourselves overly joyful, excited and passionate about life!!

Never Knew I’d Fall in Love

I never knew I would fall in love with Jesus. I thought the he was just a story. Like a nursery rhyme trying to teach us a good lesson or two.

What I never considered, as many of us don’t, was what if Jesus really is the Son of God, and he did perform miracles, and he does have a great plan and purpose for my life.

I first met Jesus five years ago when he responded with immediate action to a desperate prayer of mine. He helped me. He showed up in an amazing way in my time of need. He has never left me since that moment. The more I get to know him the more I’m in awe of how much he loves me. It is a crazy love, an extravagant love, a love that goes all out!

I think every girl wants to be pursued with that kind of love. Jesus is an amazing example of true and unconditional love. The more I learn of and experience his love the more I find myself loving him.

Forever falling in love with Jesus.

What’s in the Middle of my Marriage?

It is absolutely possible to have an amazing marriage!

Noel and I are really thankful to be a part of such an amazing church that has excellent examples of genuinely happily married couples.

In today’s culture there are a lot of different examples of marriage. Not all of them are long lasting, healthy and thriving. So where do we look for a model? Where do we get our advice and encouragement from?

I have a visual image that answers both of these questions and any other marriage/relationship question we have!!

If each of us focus on God and being the best ‘me’ we can be and we stay intimately connected to only our marriage partner this is a formula for success. Not only will our relationship with God strengthen but we will also find that our marriage gets stronger over the years! Closer to God and closer to each other.

Putting God in the center of our marriage has simply been the best! There is a consistency that runs through our marriage every day. We are continually growing into a better partner, for me this means every day I’m married to a better version of Noel and he is married to a better version on me! God in the middle of our marriage is our long lasting formula for success!!!

I love being married!

Noel and I have so much fun together. We really enjoy each others company and we work together to make our life exciting.

One of our favorite ways to keep our marriage hot and exciting is DATE NIGHT!

We are always finding new places to eat and explore. For me just knowing it is date night makes it special. We have lots of fun laughing together and totally enjoying each others company.

This week we found ourselves at Tokyo Tower.

It was my first time to Tokyo Tower even though I have lived in Japan for six years. The night view is so beautiful!!

Second Honeymoon

Our holiday to Holiday Inn Resport and Spa at MaiKhao beach in Thailand was totally a second honeymoon!!

It was amazing. Everyone thought we were newly weds because we are so loving toward each other. The truth is the longer I am with Noel the more I fall in love with him.

We had a lot of fun on our holiday.

We spent time swimming.

Reading.

Bike riding.

Relaxing and enjoying each others company.

Time at the Spa every day.

It was so relaxing and refreshing. We dreamed together about the future and are so excited about the life we share!!
